Events and fundraising
Supporting each other can sometimes be as simple as joining in, having a load of fun, gaining new friends and doing a massive amount to raise awareness and funds to help people suffering insurmountable difficulties in their lives. Wellbeing in Action put on a varied calendar of creative, challenging, humorous, stylish events each year - every one of them designed to improve wellbeing for participants, as well as support our charitable work. Pop Up COVID Vaccination Clinic
WHEN: Autumn Programme TBA
WHERE: Good Karma Shop, Market Square, Newton Abbot
WHAT: For your first, second or booster jab. Right in the heart of the town centre, no appointment needed, just call in. We'll even have some entertainment for the children and refreshments.

Derek'S 106 Mile
Run!
WHEN: MARCH 2023
WHERE: PLYMOUTH to LYNTON/LYNMOUTH
WHAT: WIA valued volunteer Derek and his friend Dominique will be limbering up to run this astonishing distance in one go to raise awareness and fundraise for Wellbeing in Action and Cedars mental health hospital.

WHAT: Oh we do like to be beside the seaside... though it will be a bit of a blur as you flash by in your best trainers! Sign up for Wellbeing in Action and we'll provide your t-shirt, snack pack and a pile of supporters & mascots to cheer you over the line.

WHAT: Show your support of people experiencing breast cancer at our fab pink party from 8pm. Hens, stags, birthdays, bring your mama or come alone (you will have new friends in no time!) just wear something pink!

Annual Petal Ball Black Tie Evening

WHAT: Our annual event that celebrates our wonderful volunteers and people involved in our community work. Dress up in your finery and come along to an evening of scrumptious food, dancing and lots of clapping for our award winners.

Inflatable Obstacle Race 5k
WHEN: 22 APRIL 2023
WHERE: WESTPOINT, EXETER
WHAT: Join 5000 total nutters running 5, 10 or 15km around a 30 wild inflatable obstacle course and foam pits! Great fun and family friendly, giving your own wellbeing a boost while doing an amazing job raising funds for others.
